The 25th Anniversary of Jackson's "Thriller"

Yesterday, Sony dropped the newest recycling of Michael Jackson's Thriller; this one is labelled "The 25th Anniversary of Thriller" with the sub-title "The World's Biggest Selling Album of All-Time". Hopefully, the kids that are learning at the feet of Hannah Montana will google the word "album" so they can understand the concept of vinyl as the sole form of music listening. The regular release does include six remixes by people like will.i.am, Akon, Kanye West and Fergie and the deluxe version has some more production value and a DVD. It is hard to believe it has been 25 years since Michael actually looked like a person versus the zombie he resembles in John Landis' "Thriller"video. So, to either to enlighted yourself on the pre-plastic boogie man that was the self-professed "King of Pop" or just to make yourself feel older than you already feel, go on over to the LA Times and read their very so-so 25 "Thriller" facts.
